What are 'focus group luncheons'?
The PKF PPN Luncheon Series is an established and successful initiative that enables small regional groups of accounting practitioners to draw on the experience and knowledge of a panel of PKF specialists in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere over lunch.
Where can you attend?
For practical purposes these events are primarily hosted at various venues across metropolitan Sydney, NSW Central Coast and the Hunter Region, with groups meeting every three to four months. Locations include Sydney CBD, Cronulla, Chatswood, Sydney Norwest, Parramatta, Campbelltown, Newcastle and Gosford.
What happens at these events?
At each event a panel of PKF’s specialists host lunch and address a range of current taxation, superannuation and business recovery issues put to them specifically by that day’s guest practitioners. Attendees get to pose their particular queries to our experts virtually in a one-on-one situation and enjoy the opportunity of placing some of their more pressing practice issues before our PKF panel for an informed opinion. We particularly encourage attendees to submit a question or two in advance of the day so that we come prepared to especially address those particular matters.
What are the benefits?
For attending accountants, these lunches are an excellent vehicle for networking with their local professional peers and for drawing on the collective knowledge of our panel in a relaxed informal setting. Importantly for our PPN member firms, the ‘setting’ is local. PKF’s panel members are the visitors. For PKF of course it's an ideal way of building stronger personal relationships with our PPN member practices.
