Are you eligible?
To determine if you are eligible for the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Concession, please
CLICK HERE to undertake a free, anonymous and instant self-assessment*. It only takes a few minutes.
The tool is designed to give you some guidance on whether your business structure and your R&D activities are eligible for the R&D Tax Concession. The tool is only a guide, but is an important starting point for a more detailed analysis of your activities and eligibility.
At the end of the self-assessment you have the option of providing your contact details and submitting your answers. We will then receive your details and results by email and be better equipped to discuss your eligibility and develop a more focussed service package for you, including the preparation and lodgement of the R&D Tax Concession Application to access the benefits of the R&D Tax Concession.
A valuable incentive
The R&D Tax Concession and proposed R&D Tax Credit provide a significant and valuable incentive for eligible companies who expend funds on research and development. The R&D Tax Credit will replace the R&D Tax Concession for the 2011/12 year but, as yet, the government has not finalised details of the new regime.
Both of these programs serve to substantially reduce company tax and, in certain circumstances, can provide a sizable tax refund.
R&D Tax incentives operate as entitlement programs, meaning that an applicant need only demonstrate eligibility to be ‘entitled’ to the benefit. Once you have established your eligibility via the tool above and in consultation with us, we will work with you in order to achieve the optimum outcome for your particular circumstances.
